The II International Student Competition named after Professor Konstantin Fedorovich Bogatykh in the discipline ‘Chemical Technology Processes and Apparatus’ was held at the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU). SRDI O&G PETON was the founder and general sponsor of the competition.
38 students from 11 universities and 12 cities took part in the competition. The intellectual contest was held within the walls of the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University. SRDI O&G PETON undertook the material support for the competition as a part of personnel policy implementation for the development of potential specialists’ industry competencies.

The K. F. Bogatykh Competition first took place in 2017 when the students from 5 Russian universities visited Ufa. The event was granted the international status in 2018. From this year on, not only Russian but also foreign students will compete for the best young professionals award.
The award ceremony was held at the VDNKh-Expo as part of the Petrochemical Forum. Students of USPTU became the winners of competition, the students of the same University shared the first place in the individual event: Kamil Mullabayev and Anvar Valeyev.
Awarding of the participants and prize winners of the students’ research contest was also held as a part of the event. Within a year the winners will be granted the B. K. Marushkin’s fellowship founded by SRDI O&G PETON.
The III International Student Competition named after K. F. Bogatykh will be held in 2019.
